Ruby Almeida
Chief Trainer

Ruby is UK based and has worked for over 20 years in the broadcast and training sector. She ran her own video production company in London for many years before going on to work as a media trainer and lecturer for many educational establishments and commercial organisations. She is a Producer, and has trained and worked in camera, sound recording and editing roles on a wide variety productions. She has worked at College and University level in London as a Senior Lecturer in Communications and Media for over 13 years. It has been Ruby's dream to set up a media training project in India and she has been working toward this for the past few years. She brings to AMP her passion for training and communication, through the use of video, and has a great desire to make it accessible and enjoyable for all.

Ruby says "I hope that all who come through the doors of AMP will share in my enthusiasm for video as a powerful yet accessible communication tool. When I started many moons ago, the technology was alienating, expensive and inaccessible for most people. I take great joy in being able to set these courses up, and am very honoured to have a fantastic team here at AMP. I look forward to your participation on our courses and to have the privilege of sharing knowledge, ideas and experiences with you. Rajil's family connections and his own professional reputation are very well known. Rajil is a man of diverse and in-depth talents, which range from film and television through to radio as a Producer and Director of productions, over the past thirty years. Rajil has worked on a wide range of commercial as well as educational programmes in India and the USA. Rajil's work is synonymous with a level of professionalism and quality untouched by most of his peers.

Rajil says: "It gives me enormous, professional satisfaction to be collaborating with AMP on this exciting, new training concept in India. Having been involved in such projects abroad in the past, it is good to be a part of AMP's initiatives to become the market leaders in this field in Mumbai. I know that whoever participates in these courses, they will not be disappointed."

Inez Rufus
Speech Trainer

Inez is an experienced trainer with proven skills in English (spoken and written), Communication, Voice Modulation, Presentation, Cross culture and Soft skills. She has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills facilitating clear presentation and enhancement of training needs. She started her career with the Consulate General of Oman in 1976 and found that her calling was in fact Communication and Presentation. Over the last seven years, she has conducted trainings and workshops in both the corporate world and the BPO industry. She has successfully headed two corporate training teams and now works independently. Some of her clients are IBM Daksh, Intelenet Global Services, JP Morgan Chase, United HealthCareIndia, Taj Lands End and the Taj President. Pronunciation, diction, delivery of the spoken word and paralanguage are areas that Inez brings to the AMP courses.

Inez says "I have a passion and dedication for training skills that ensure that people's skills are enhanced, making for them confident, and self assured individuals. I have always had the ability to motivate and inspire others through my presentations and public speaking. I am an experienced voice coach and trainer. And have worked for numerous corporate organisations and call centres and training companies. With a decade of training to my credit and, as an authority on both spoken and written English, I hope to enthuse the participants with my forte and passion for training in the enhancement of communication skills."

Sharanya Narayanan
Course Assistant

Sharanya is the youngest member of the team. Her role involves having to take care of the basic requirements of the staff and students on the course, making sure that they have all the equipment, written materials and handouts, and to facilitate the smooth running of the workshops. Sharanya is also in charge of food and beverages ensuring that they are available periodically to fuel both the students and the staff though the day. All queries, complaints and or requirements, with respect to making one's experience at the workshop more comfortable, should be addressed to Sharanya. She will be more than happy to help.

Sharanya says, "I am just about stepping into my final year at St. Xavier's College. I am 20 years old and hoping to graduate with a degree in either Political Science or Economics. I have spent most of my life in Mumbai and have had the good fortune of indulging myself in various extra-curricular activities such as gymnastics and classical Indian Bharatnatyam. Apart from the performing arts I have also enjoyed the field of debating and participated in various model United Nations discussions and have represented India at an international level. I am like any other average 20 year old and haven't a clue what I would like to do in the future! And so, working as part of the AMP team, I aim to discover a world of possibilities and recommend that you do the same!"

Kedar Gogate
Editor and Technical Expert

Kedar runs his own video editing company Studio Post and has certified links with AVID and specialises in sales, training, demonstrations, after sales service and consultancy for AVID. Kedar has worked as editor on numerous popular television productions such as CID, Aahat, Nach Baliye. He is a member of the Editor’s Association and is passionately committed to the Indian film and television industry.
